Three-phase power, sized for what arrives next.
New equipment is specified long before the feeder that serves it. Distribution designed only for today's load becomes the constraint on the next capital purchase.
Transformers & 480V Distribution
Three-phase power distribution for plants and warehouses — transformers, panelboards, busway, feeders and equipment drops at 480V and below, installed to carry the load that is actually coming.
What this job typically includes
- Dry-type and pad-mount transformer installation and connection
- 480V panelboards, distribution and step-down to 208/120V
- Busway, cable tray and conduit distribution systems
- Equipment feeders, disconnects and machine drops
- Power quality assessment, harmonics and power factor review
- Grounding, bonding and updated one-line documentation

Tell us what is going on
Call, or spend two minutes on the quote form. We ask what the problem is, what kind of property, and where you are — enough to pass it to the right contractors and no more.
-
02
We pass it to local electricians
Your request goes to independent electrical contractors who work in your area and do that type of work. A panel upgrade and a PLC fault are not the same trade, so the kind of job decides who sees it.

Contractors get in touch
Contractors who want the job contact you directly to talk it through and give you a price. Compare them, ask questions, and choose who you want — or nobody.

You decide and hire
Your agreement for the work is with the contractor you choose, not with us. Before you agree, get the quote in writing, check their licence and insurance with your state, and ask whether a permit is needed.
480V Distribution — what people ask.
Why is industrial power 480V?
Higher voltage moves the same power at lower current, which means smaller conductors and lower losses over the distances a plant covers. It is also what most industrial motors are wound for.
What causes a power factor penalty?
Large inductive loads — motors especially — draw reactive current that does no work but still has to be delivered. Utilities bill for it. Capacitor banks or active correction typically pay back quickly where the penalty is meaningful.
Can an electrician produce an accurate one-line for our facility?
Many can, and for many older plants that survey is the most valuable deliverable of the project — it is the document every future job, arc flash study and troubleshooting session depends on.
