Some electrical problems do not wait until Monday.
If you smell burning, see arcing, or the panel is hot, shut off what you safely can and call. This is the category where waiting is the expensive choice.
Emergency Electrical Repair
For genuine electrical emergencies: total or partial power loss, a burning smell, sparking or arcing, a panel that is hot to the touch, or storm damage to a service. Send a request or call, and independent electricians in your area can respond.

Tell us what is going on
Call, or spend two minutes on the quote form. We ask what the problem is, what kind of property, and where you are — enough to pass it to the right contractors and no more.
-
02
We pass it to local electricians
Your request goes to independent electrical contractors who work in your area and do that type of work. A panel upgrade and a PLC fault are not the same trade, so the kind of job decides who sees it.

Contractors get in touch
Contractors who want the job contact you directly to talk it through and give you a price. Compare them, ask questions, and choose who you want — or nobody.

04
You decide and hire
Your agreement for the work is with the contractor you choose, not with us. Before you agree, get the quote in writing, check their licence and insurance with your state, and ask whether a permit is needed.
Emergency Repair — what people ask.
What counts as an electrical emergency?
Anything with a fire or shock risk: burning smells, arcing, sparking, hot panels or outlets, exposed conductors, water contacting electrical equipment, and a service mast pulled loose. A single dead outlet in a spare room is not an emergency, and you should not pay emergency rates for one.
Should I turn off the main breaker?
If you can reach it safely and you have a burning smell or visible arcing, yes — killing power removes the energy driving the fault. Do not touch a panel that is hot, wet, or actively arcing; leave it and call from outside.
Is the outage my problem or the utility's?
Roughly: everything up to and including the meter is the utility's, and everything past it is yours. A useful first check is whether your neighbours also lost power. If the service mast or meter base is physically damaged, both parties are usually involved.
