The cheapest kilowatt is the one you stop using.
Lighting is usually the largest controllable electrical load in a commercial building and the one with the shortest payback period.
Commercial Lighting & LED Retrofits
Replacing fluorescent, metal halide and high-pressure sodium with LED cuts lighting energy substantially and removes the ballast-and-lamp maintenance cycle entirely. A retrofit usually covers the audit, the fixture work and, where the utility allows it, the rebate paperwork.
What this job typically includes
- Photometric audit of existing fixtures, levels and burn hours
- Fixture-for-fixture retrofit or full replacement, interior and exterior
- Occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting and time-clock controls
- Parking lot, wall-pack and site lighting including pole work
- Utility rebate documentation and submission support
- Lamp and ballast disposal handled to regulation

Tell us what is going on
Call, or spend two minutes on the quote form. We ask what the problem is, what kind of property, and where you are — enough to pass it to the right contractors and no more.
-
02
We pass it to local electricians
Your request goes to independent electrical contractors who work in your area and do that type of work. A panel upgrade and a PLC fault are not the same trade, so the kind of job decides who sees it.

Contractors get in touch
Contractors who want the job contact you directly to talk it through and give you a price. Compare them, ask questions, and choose who you want — or nobody.

You decide and hire
Your agreement for the work is with the contractor you choose, not with us. Before you agree, get the quote in writing, check their licence and insurance with your state, and ask whether a permit is needed.
Commercial Lighting — what people ask.
What is the payback on an LED retrofit?
It depends on burn hours, current fixture type and your rate. High-burn-hour spaces replacing metal halide typically pay back fastest; a low-hours office replacing efficient T8s pays back slowest. An audit gives you the real number rather than a brochure figure.
Can the work happen outside business hours?
Usually. Most commercial retrofits are scheduled nights or weekends so the space is not disrupted. Ask for that to be included in the quote rather than added later as a surcharge.
Who handles the rebate paperwork?
Where the utility programme allows a contractor to file, many electricians will; confirm who files before work starts. Pre-approval is often required before work starts — starting the work first is the most common way a rebate is forfeited.
