The fastest way to change how a room feels.
Layout matters more than fixture count. Spacing, beam angle and colour temperature decide whether a kitchen reads bright or harsh.
Lighting Installation & LED Recessed Lighting
Lighting is the cheapest change that makes a room feel different. Typical jobs include laying out and installing recessed LED, under-cabinet, pendants, chandeliers and dimming, including the switching and circuits behind it.
What this job typically includes
- Lighting layout and spacing plan for the room
- Recessed LED can and canless installation, new or retrofit
- Under-cabinet, cove, toe-kick and accent lighting
- Chandelier, pendant and fixture hanging, including high ceilings
- Dimmer selection matched to the driver — the usual cause of LED flicker
- New switch legs, three-way and smart switching

Tell us what is going on
Call, or spend two minutes on the quote form. We ask what the problem is, what kind of property, and where you are — enough to pass it to the right contractors and no more.
-
02
We pass it to local electricians
Your request goes to independent electrical contractors who work in your area and do that type of work. A panel upgrade and a PLC fault are not the same trade, so the kind of job decides who sees it.

Contractors get in touch
Contractors who want the job contact you directly to talk it through and give you a price. Compare them, ask questions, and choose who you want — or nobody.

You decide and hire
Your agreement for the work is with the contractor you choose, not with us. Before you agree, get the quote in writing, check their licence and insurance with your state, and ask whether a permit is needed.
Lighting — what people ask.
Why do my LED lights flicker on the dimmer?
Almost always a dimmer mismatch. Most older dimmers were built for incandescent loads and cannot drive an LED driver smoothly at the low end. A dimmer rated for the specific LED load fixes it in minutes.
How many recessed lights does a room need?
A common starting point is spacing equal to about half the ceiling height, then adjusting for the work surfaces and furniture. Counting fixtures without laying them out is how you end up with an airport runway.
What colour temperature should I choose?
2700K reads warm and residential, 3000K is a common all-purpose choice, 4000K reads crisp and works in garages, laundries and workshops. Mixing temperatures within one sightline is the mistake to avoid.
